Echoes and Obstacles features a video program developed by Twin Cities PBS in collaboration with StarNet, National Science Foundation, and American University. In this episode Isaiah and Ellie use echolocation to help them know where they are. They meet bat expert Nancy who reads the book Fiona the Fruit Bat by Dan Riskin. Then we will have some fun creating echoes and other sounds with miscellaneous materials.  Each family takes home an activity kit to extend the learning and playing at home. This co-learning STEM program is designed for children ages 4 – 8.

Please register each child for each program you wish to participate in. There is only room for 10 families in each program so PLEASE only sign up for the events you are certain to attend.
