Are you interested in outer space? This Saturday, September 14th at 6:30pm, join The Keene Public Library in Ashuelot Park where members from Keene Amateur Astronomers Inc. will set up a couple of big telescopes so we can get an up-close view of the moon’s craters and mountains. See the Sea of Tranquility where the Apollo 11 Astronauts landed, and Neil Armstrong first stepped onto the moon!

The library will be bringing their Moon viewing binoculars so there will be plenty of opportunity to view the moon. The library will also have fun lunar-themed crafts for kids of all ages. This program is for all ages and interest levels and is free and open to all. We will be set up in the park near the entrance from the parking lot. Come stop by anytime between 6:30 and 8:00 pm and join the fun.

PLEASE NOTE: We advise wearing long sleeves and long pants to protect yourself from mosquito bites.
