The Floating Lantern Festival is a beautiful and awe-inspiring event where participants gather to release hundreds of floating lanterns into the water at dusk. These lanterns represent the light that we can all bring into the world and into the lives of those around us. As they float on the water, they serve as a powerful reminder that no one is alone in their struggles and that there is always hope for a brighter future. In the Asian tradition, we will honor friends and family who struggle with mental health and work towards breaking the stigma.

Please join us as we decorate, light and float lanterns at dusk! This is a family friendly event!

* Bring a picnic supper, chair and /or a blanket and a flashlight
* Alyson’s Tavern will have food for sale
* Music, dancing and fun!
* FREE entry to the event
* Lanterns are for sale for $15 each or you can pre-purchase for $10
* There will be plenty of markers and stencils to decorate your lantern. Feel free to add a special message

* At dusk, we will have a launching ceremony when everyone launches their lit lanterns into the pond at the same time

When you arrive to Alyson’s, please park in the lot near the store and event center, and either walk or take the free wagon ride over to Sarmas Pond.

There will be two registration tables. One for those who purchased lanterns ahead of the event and those purchasing the day of the event.
