This free community event celebrates the Winchester region’s local food purveyors, farmers and artisan food producers, working to provide the best, freshest and healthiest food, accessible to all area residents. New this year: There will be a 4k race prior to the food festival. This is a great way to work up an appetite for all the delicious food! At this year’s event we’ve got MANY ACTIVITIES AND FOOD for everyone to enjoy! For one day each spring, the Winchester Farmers’ Market grows into a vibrant community party, all about food. Activities include raffles, hearty free samples of locally-grown and locally-prepared food, hands-on activities for all ages, live music, and much more! Farmers’ Market vendors will be there, offering local foods and handmade crafts for sale. This event is organized by local volunteers through the Winchester Farmers’ Market and the town Revitalization and Economic Development (RED) Committee. As you explore the festival this year, local food samples will be scattered throughout – try a little bit of everything and remember to support some of the farmers’ market vendors with a purchase or two along the way!
