The Actors Theatre Playhouse in West Chesterfield, N.H. announces open auditions for their first production of the 2025 season, the Ten Minute Play Festival, to run for 9 performances in June.
Auditions will be held Saturday, January 4 from 10:30am to 12:30 pm, Monday, January 13 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, and Tuesday, January 14 from 7 to 8:30pm at Brooks Memorial Library Community Room, Main Street, Brattleboro, VT.

Please note: In addition to casting for the 10 Minute Plays, you may be considered for acting and production positions we are looking to fill for later in the season.

This year’s Festival playwrights were selected from national submissions of over 350 ten minute plays. Those making the final cut have gone through vigorous screening by a team of readers and directors, and we look forward to bringing eight of them to production. Copies are available upon request when you schedule an audition. There are roles for all ages from teens to seniors.
At the audition, you will be asked to read from the 10-minute play scripts..You may audition for as many plays as you like and you may be cast in more than one play. You may be called back for a second appearance, particularly for considering a main stage or workshop production for later in the season.

The Festival directors this year are Jim Bombicino, Ian Hefele, Bob Kramsky, Bahman Mahdavi, Sherman Morrison, Brenda Seitz, Lin Snider, and Burt Tepfer, who will schedule rehearsals for their respective plays. You should be available to rehearse more intensely during the three weeks before opening. Tech week will be June 1st through June 5.
