Bluesman Albert Cummings will perform at the Monument Arts and Cultural Center in Bennington, Vermont this Friday, Sept. 13th at 7pm.

Cummings’ guitar pyrotechnics and soulful voice call to mind such past masters as Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, and Jimi Hendrix. Billboard refers to his guitar work as “sizzling,” while Guitar One hailed Cummings’ “unbridled ferocity” and “terrifying technique.”

His most recent album, “Strong,” released in February, quickly hit No. 1 on the blues album chart.

Tickets for the MACCenter show are $30, $25 for seniors and students, and are available at http://www.monumentcentervt.org or at the door by cash or check, if available.
