This beaver’s story was unusual from the very beginning, when he was born to a single mother in a culvert. From there it got stranger. Much stranger. Learn about Pumpkin’s childhood in the Beaver Lodge and the many adventures that ensued on his path to adulthood. His surrogate parent, wildlife rehabilitator and BEEC naturalist Patti Smith, will share the many things Pumpkin taught her about beaver childhood, adolescence, and maturity. This presentation is richly illustrated with videos and photos.
