On Friday, January 3rd at 5:00 PM, the Jaffrey Civic Center will present the fourth program in this season’s “Stories to Share” series. The speaker will be longtime Peterborough veterinarian Charles DeVinne, who will offer “veterinary episodes” from his more than thirty years of tending to animals, both large and small, in the Monadnock Region.

Soon after earning his DVM from the New York College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University, Dr. DeVinne moved to Peterborough, NH. In 1989 he opened the Animal Care Clinic on Concord Street where he continues to practice both internal medicine and surgery.

An avid outdoorsman, Dr. DeVinne is the author of The Orvis Guide to First Aid for Sporting Dogs. He is also a champion clay target shooter. In 2018 he won the Clay Target Championship at Orvis Shooting Grounds in New York and the Griffin & Howe shoot in 2023.

The program is free of charge, but to help support this event and others like it, donations are appreciated. The program will be available as an in-person event at the Jaffrey Civic Center and recorded. To register for in-person attendance please go to https://jaffreyciviccenter.com/stories/ or call JCC Executive Director Laura Adams at 603-532-6527. We highly encourage those who wish to attend to reserve their seat ahead of time.
