This Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 5:00 pm, Windham World Affairs Council will partner with Brattleboro Union High School’s PeaceJam Club, the Brattleboro Area Jewish Community and the Latchis Theater to present a community screening of “The Cure for Hate: Bearing Witness to Auschwitz’ (2023, Doc, 85 minutes, US) with a live discussion with the film’s subject, former neo-Nazi Tony McAleer, and Director Peter Hutchison. The film depicts McAleer’s journey from troubled teen drawn into white supremist ideology to a man trying to make amends for his hate-filled past.
