Stonewall Farm in Keene is offering a Family Friendly class about “Utensil Carving & Knife Safety” on Saturday, February 8th at 3pm.

Join Owl Eyes Wilderness Survival to learn how to carve wood into a utensil. Students will learn knife techniques, safety, and blade sharpening at the beginning of class. Class will also cover the overall “how-to” on carving. All tools and materials will be provided including knives, hook knives, sharpeners, and locally sourced carving wood. Students usually make a finished project by the end of class.

Recommended Gear: (knives will be available to borrow and purchase in class as well)

When: Saturday, February 8th at 3 – 4:30 PM

Where: Stonewall Farm, 242 Chesterfield Rd, Keene, NH. In the Learning Center, first floor (same building as the Farm Store)

Cost: $20/person (children under 18 years old must be accompanied by a ticketed adult)

Space is limited. Advanced registration and payment are required. $10 of the total payment is non-refundable.
