Carl and Magie Shepardson will show slides and talk about their wilderness expeditions in northern Canada and Alaska at the Keene Public Library this Saturday, September 14th at 1pm. In 1980 they set out from Marlborough, NH, and paddled to Alaska by canoe with two small children. Since then they have summered in the Arctic barrens of Labrador, Nuncuat, Yakon, and the North West Territories as well as northern Alaska.

Come learn about the Arctic landscape and wildlife through photos and stories of wild adventures. There will be time for discussion at the end of their program.
