On Thursday, April 13th at 7pm at the Park Theatre in Jaffrey, New Hampshire State Representative Sherry Gould, a tribal citizen and special projects genealogist of the Nulhegan Band of the Coosuk Abenaki Nation, will talk about the people of the Abenaki Nation, past and present, focusing on their social and cultural experience.

Representative Gould is also co-founder of the Abenaki Trails Project and will discuss the Project’s efforts to unearth and memorialize Abenaki historical sites.  Attendees are invited to share their local personal stories related to Native Americans.  A “Let’s Talk History” presentation of the Park Theatre and the Jaffrey Historical Society as part of the Jaffrey 250th Anniversary celebration.  Reception follows.
