Duo Mundo: Lezcano-Hartka Duo on Saturday, July 30 at 7pm at the Nelson Congregational Church.

Viva Havana!  Sounds of Cuba, Music for guitar & cello with Duo Mundo: Jose Lezcano, guitar; Rebecca Hartka, cello.

Classical & Latin music lovers in the Monadnock region and Cheshire County have the opportunity to attend a series of free concerts in the region this summer, thanks to a grant from the Cheshire County Board of Commissioners and Cheshire County State Representatives, and coordinated by Dr. Jose Lezcano, Professor Emeritus at Keene State College, and himself an internationally acclaimed guitarist with two Grammy nominations for his work as soloist and composer.  Jose has coordinated an impressive line-up of concerts with local and regional musicians, performing a wide range of music, from the classics to popular Latin music.   Many thanks to the Cheshire County Board of Commissioners and Cheshire County State Representatives for making this series possible.
