The Keene Chamber Orchestra will be presenting its first concert in over two years with two presentations: Saturday, May 14, 4:00 PM in Heberton Hall at the Keene Public Library and Sunday, May 15, 3:00 PM at the Putney School, Calder Hall in the Michael S. Currier Center. Both concerts are free.
Conducted by Eric Thomas, music director, and featuring local musicians and students of the Putney School, Putney, VT. Expect new and familiar pieces to entertain you, including Lars-Erik Larsson’s Concertino for Trombone, and Beethoven’s 6th Symphony First movement.
Three students from Putney School will be soloists: Mark Quehl, tenor; Zoe Mickle,Soprano; and Spencer Tepper, trombone. They will be backed up by the orchestra consisting of string and woodwind players.
