As of December 21, Keene Public Library will reduce services to at-the-door-pickup of pre-reserved library materials and limited computer, microform, and photocopy services by appointment.  The team’s recommendation came in response to the increase in local cases of COVID-19 and a surge in cases expected during the holiday season. The reduction in library services will remain for an indefinite period, to be reviewed at the Library Trustees’ monthly meetings

Keene Public Library’s enhanced curbside services will be available Monday through Friday 10 a.m.- noon and 3 – 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Staff are available by telephone and email Monday – Friday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Library cardholders may reserve materials online, through the online catalog, or call the library. Staff will collect the materials, notify you, and then you can pick up the materials at the door. The exterior book drops remain open for the return of borrowed items at any time. Those wishing to use a photocopy machine, a microfilm machine, or a public computer may call the library at 603-352-0157 to make a reservation.

The Keene Public Library provides a host of online services to library cardholders. Resources such as Universal Class, Mango Languages, Kanopy, Brainfuse HelpNow, and JobNow are available 24/7. For more information, please visit the library’s website at keenepubliclibrary.org or call the library at 603-352-0157.
