NOFA-NH’s Farm Share Program is now Accepting Applications – A Community Food Security Program Connecting Low Income NH Residents with Organic Farm Fresh Food

The Northeast Organic Farming Association of New Hampshire (NOFA-NH) is now accepting applications for its 2022 Farm Share Program. Since 2017, the program has served New Hampshire residents with limited income by providing funding for community members to access local certified organic CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) shares at reduced costs. Since its inception, the Farm Share Program has collaborated with 15 New Hampshire farms to provide 117 shares to 375+ community members. Farm shares consist of 14 – 26+ weeks of fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables.

How It Works:

  • NOFA-NH provides funds for 50% of each farm share, paid directly to the farms.
  • Farm Share Program recipients pay 25% of the total farm share cost upon program acceptance. Payments are made to the farm.
  • Participating farms contribute the remaining 25%.

This year we are partnering with 10 farms across New Hampshire to offer over 40+ farm shares to community members in need. The following farms are contributing to the Farm Share Program in 2022: Abenaki Springs Farm, Brookford Farm, Local Harvest CSA, Mountain Heartbeet, Picadilly Farm, Pork Hill Farm, Stout Oak Farm, Tuckaway Farm, Winter Street Farm, and Work Song Farm.

Visit www.nofanh.org/farm-share-program for more information and to apply. Applications must be in by April 17th.
