Separation Anxiety in Dogs- A fundraising presentation for the Springfield Humane Society happens on Tuesday, March 28, at 1 p.m. via Zoom.

Does your dog have a hard time when you leave the house? You are not alone. Researchers estimate that up to 20% of dogs become distressed to the point of panic when left alone. A dog with separation anxiety may howl, bark, and/or whimper for a very long time after you leave, have accidents in the house, and destroy objects such as furniture, windows, and door frames. The good news is: Separation anxiety is treatable.

In this 40-minute Zoom session you’ll discover what separation anxiety is — and is not — and the steps you can take to help your dog and get your life back.

100% of the $10 registration fee will go to support the work of the Springfield Humane Society. Can’t make it live? The session will be recorded and sent to registrants afterward.
