Monadnock region residents will get their hands dirty to make our rivers clean September 24th-26th, 2021, as part of the 25th annual Connecticut River Conservancy’s Source to Sea Cleanup, a four state community event to cleanup the Connecticut River and its tributaries.
Volunteers are needed! Please register ahead of time here! Online registration is preferred. If you need assistance with registering, call the CCCD at 603-756-2988 x4 or email info@cheshireconservation.org
Cleanup crews will work on Friday, September 24th and Saturday, September 25th from 9:00am-1:00pm at multiple sites in Keene, on Saturday, September 25th from 9:00am-1:00pm in Swanzey, and on Sunday, September 26th from 2:00pm-6:00pm in Winchester.
Sites include on-foot and boating locations in the three towns. Volunteers should only be using small boats such as kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats, due to limited space. Volunteers do not require a boat but are encouraged to bring a boat and life jackets if available. Trash bags and gloves will be provided to all volunteers, and a limited amount of t-shirts for volunteers will be available! More information about specific site locations can be found at: https://www.cheshireconservation.org/s2s
