Volunteers are needed for the 26th Annual Source to Sea River Clean Up!
Monadnock region residents are invited to join thousands of volunteers over the course of the weekend: September 23rd-25th, 2022, to clean up the Connecticut River and its tributaries, as part of the 26th annual Connecticut River Conservancy’s Source to Sea Cleanup, a four state community event to cleanup our rivers.
Volunteers are needed! Please register ahead of time here!
Online registration is preferred. For assistance in registration, contact 603-756-2988 x3011 or email benee@cheshireconservation.org
Cleanup crews will work on Friday, September 23rd and Saturday, September 24th from 9:00am-1:00pm at multiple sites in Keene, on Saturday, September 24th from 9:00am-1:00pm in Swanzey, and on Sunday, September 25th from 9:00am-1:00pm in Winchester.
Sites include on-foot and boating locations in the three towns. Volunteers should only be using small boats such as kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats, due to limited space.
Volunteers do not require a boat but are encouraged to bring a boat and life jackets if available. Trash bags and gloves will be provided to all volunteers, and a limited amount of t-shirts for volunteers will be available!
More information about specific site locations can be found at: https://www.cheshireconservation.org/s2s
